Business Pitch

The IvyGuruKul Business Pitch is a multistage competition designed for middle and high school students, divided into two divisions. Teams of up to four participants will develop startup ideas in one of five categories below. The competition aims to foster entrepreneurship, critical thinking, and creativity, encouraging students to become the next generation of innovators.
Eligibility
Middle School Division: 6th - 8th grade
High School Division: 9th - 12th grade
Entry Fee: $100/Team
Fee waiver available
Team Size: 1-4 members.
Team members don’t have to be from the same school.
Industry Expert Judges
Compete in the category of your choice. Entries will be judged by qualified judges.
Competition Categories
Sustainability & Environmental Impact: Renewable energy solutions, waste reduction technologies, sustainable agriculture, eco-friendly packaging innovations, smart cities & urban solutions, etc.
Healthcare & Wellness: Telemedicine platforms, wearable health tech, mental health innovations, personalized medicine, fitness or nutrition apps, etc.
Social Impact & Nonprofit Ventures: Education access, poverty alleviation, social justice initiatives, disaster relief technologies, programs for underserved communities, etc.
Artificial Intelligence: Automation, natural language processing, machine learning in finance, healthcare AI for diagnostics, ethical AI solutions, etc.
Consumer Apps/Goods: E-commerce platforms, lifestyle apps, gaming, direct-to-consumer product innovations, subscription services, personalized shopping experiences, etc.
Competition Rounds:
Advancement: Top 25% of teams will be announced as semifinalists.
Top 10% will compete in round 2, the final round.

*In each category, 50% of the prize is take-home, the other 50% is for the charity of the team’s choice, e.g. the 1st place team in the high school division, will take home $20k and donate $20k to the charity of their choice
*100% of the amount collected in the form of entry fee for the entire competition will be distributed in the form of prizes and charity donations
